Legal Disclaimer

Last updated: March 12, 2026

Quick summaryWordPressDeploy provides software and information, not professional advice. Deployments always carry risk, and you remain responsible for your sites, data, configurations, and backups.

This Disclaimer applies to your use of the WordPressDeploy.com website, software, content, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Please read it carefully before using the Service.

1. General information

Information and materials provided through the Service are for general informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute legal, financial, security, compliance, or other professional advice; replace consultation with qualified professionals; create a professional or fiduciary relationship; or guarantee any particular result.

Although we work to keep information accurate and current, software platforms, hosting providers, WordPress, plugins, themes, and security practices change frequently. We do not guarantee that any content is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for your specific circumstances.

2. Deployment and technology risks

Software and technical services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Deploying or modifying a website may cause downtime, broken functionality, configuration conflicts, search-ranking changes, data loss, or security issues. You are responsible for reviewing deployment settings, testing changes, maintaining independent backups, protecting credentials, and confirming that your website and infrastructure meet your requirements.

WordPressDeploy does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, a particular performance score, successful deployment, recovery of lost data, or protection against every vulnerability or attack. Rollback, backup, caching, monitoring, and security features reduce risk but do not eliminate it.

3. Third-party platforms

The Service may interact with WordPress, hosting providers, domain registrars, source-control platforms, payment processors, analytics services, plugins, themes, and other third-party products. Those products are governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, security, conduct, changes, or content.

WordPressDeploy is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the WordPress Foundation, Automattic Inc., or WooCommerce. WordPress and related marks belong to their respective owners.

4. No professional advice

Nothing provided through the Service is legal advice about privacy, accessibility, licensing, tax, data protection, security compliance, or other obligations. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and use case. Consult a qualified professional for advice about your circumstances.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WordPressDeploy and its owners, personnel, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages; loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, or data; service interruption; or damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service or a third-party service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid WordPressDeploy during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

6. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless WordPressDeploy and its affiliates from claims, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of applicable law or these terms, content or sites you deploy, or infringement of another party’s rights.

7. Governing law and updates

This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Users outside the United States are responsible for complying with applicable local law.

We may update this Disclaimer by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Changes take effect upon posting unless stated otherwise and will not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
